Dear Windows convert,

Remember when I assisted in your transition from Windows to Linux a few years ago? Remember the important differences between Windows and Linux that I told about? Remember the bookmarks with all those really informative tutorials about updating and adding software to your Linux that I left in your Firefox that day I installed Linux on your system?

You do remember all that, you say. Well then...

WHY O' WHY DID YOU GO TO MOZILLA'S WEBSITE LAST NIGHT AND DOWNLOAD THEIR NEWEST VERSION OF FF .EXE FOR WINDOWS AND THEN CALL TO ASK ME HOW TO INSTALL IT IN YOUR UBUNTU?

*sigh*

</rant>

AHHHHHHMMMMM... AHHHHHMMMMMM.... OK, I'm better now. :wacko2:

Oohm, Oohm, Oohm!
Deep cleansing breaths.

Tweak it 'til it breaks, then learn how to fix it.

I am speaking from personal experience of today.
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. ~C. S. Lewis

I regularly exercise that form of relief from the frustrations of providing "free" support to users.

Thankfully, I have 2 users who make it all worthwhile. Even when struggling with genuine trouble issues!

Tweak it 'til it breaks, then learn how to fix it.
