abarbarian
Some of the keys they make are cool, http://www.shapeways.com/shops/gizmobazaar?section=Cherry+MX+Keycaps&s=0 an this is just out of this world, http://imgur.com/gallery/64qDf/new an I am surprised you have not ordered one of theses Josh, http://www.shapeways.com/product/TME627RBA/color-vim-keycap?li=my-models&optionId=43793904 You could make up a trully customised keyboard if you had enough loot. Wish I had a 3D printer.
securitybreach
Those skulls are neat but utterly useless as they are too big. The others are also very cool but once again, having a raised emblem is a bit much for me. I prefer a flat design if I get any more keycaps. I type more than anything so I need to be able to comfortably touch type and I do not think those are really made for typist. I prefer these: http://www.wasdkeybo...ap-singles.html http://www.wasdkeybo...mx-keycaps.html Or you can upload your own design: http://www.wasdkeybo...mx-keycaps.html
securitybreach
The more I think about it, I prefer the blank look as it is sleek and its looks hardcore. I bought the Arch keycap as my environment (i3wm) uses the left alt key as a modifier key.. ALT-enter opens a terminal, ALT-p opens the run dialog, etc......so I thought it was a nice touch. I originally bought the 2 Tux ones from the Das website but I had already worn some of the color off the left ALT key as I use it so much (not bad for only a couple of weeks lol). It's not worn off but the white is now more pf a light grey. I was really surprised as they advertise that their keys are laser etched if you get the keyboard with labels. The tux keys are probably just printed instead of laser etched. And of course I run across the Arch one afterwards so I ordered one of those too from the wasd website. securitybreach
I want to eventually have something like this but blank keys instead: https://imgur.com/a/PW5uW I also plan to wrap my keyboard in carbon fiber. The howto is here: https://imgur.com/a/0nFh5
abarbarian
Carbon fibre wrap looks awesome. As to skulls, how often do you really use the escape key ? Me I would have one at the drop of a hat. An I quite like the idea of using the raised keys as they do look funky. How well they would work in practice is another matter.
