securitybreach Posted January 19, 2015 Share Posted January 19, 2015 I do not know why or how to make this default but now weechat has disabled Temporary servers by default. If you start a new session and try to connect, you will see this error: the creation of temporary servers with command /connect is currently disabled. So I troubleshooted and finally read the latest release news for Weechat and seen: Temporary servers disabled by default with /connect Creating a temporary server with command /connect or /connect irc://... is now forbidden by default. A new option has been added to unlock the feature, you can do that for the old behavior in command /connect: /set irc.look.temporary_servers on https://weechat.org/files/releasenotes/ReleaseNotes-devel.html I am not for sure what the new format is or why they disabled creating temporary servers but I will continue to research Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
