Well this topic has being discussed on ......Scots newletter too that mozilla has a pecular habit of stalling on certain sites and i would have to click on it many times to make mozilla go and fetch the page....no such issue with opera 6.12 or 7.0 perview 2 version.i did speak this issue with the moz chaps on their IRC channel but all they kept askign was on which site did sich thinghappened......well this question is bit difficult to answer as it could happen on any site.let the posts begin.Other issue that i have noticed on Mozilla is its memory usuage diet.......it consumes a huge amount of mem.....amd keeps using it, although i never had any stability issues with moz, i would still be glad if it where lean and mean like opera which is fit and non fat plus zippy too.So what u users have to say and scot .....can u wake up the moz developers to do something about it otherwise i hope it doesnt end up like netscape .....errr, eesh. :)

I am using Phoenix at home on both Windows and Linux, at work I am using mozilla and Chimera, err Camino.I never encountered stalling page so I can't say anything about it.However memory leak is known issue from early days and it looks like it's going to stay there for now.Workaround would be to minimize application and then restore, zzzap, all your memory is back.At least it works in Phoenix on Windows.I guess they don't see memory leak as a threat or it is too complex or something. :)

zox, thanks for the memory leak work around.. yes, i am a bit ticked off with the memory leak, but other than that. I am quite happy with Mozilla and Phoenix. I haven't experienced any types of stalling yet.ThunderRiver

Is it me or does Moz 1.3 seem slower than 1.2? Also, i really hate this "post data" error that keeps comming up. Some times when i type information into a site and hit submit, and need to go back to fix something, it says, cann't go back, this page contains post data. I have never noticed this with any browser except mozilla. O well, i'm not about to give up on Mozilla or anything, but i do think there are a few things they could fix. But, i guess that goes for any program.

I have not noticed any slowness with Mozilla 1.3, but than I am on dial up. So far I am happy with Mozilla 1.3 I know the previous version would at times show instability, but I have not used Mozilla 1.3 a whole lot lately either. It is a lot better than netscape in the previous versions of Redhat. That was a nightmare.

Can I whine now? I have downloaded Moz1.3, and it is fast. However I am homesick. I am without my AI Roboform, so I am having to completely recreate a ID & password history; I am without Pop-up Stopper, and Moz's seems pretty cumbersome (you mean I have to do this, at times, site by site).(Remember now, I've worked with it less that 2 hours, so some of this may be stupid). THEN, no support for stationary (although I did have a few pix that I have been able to use as background). Then, the Favorites/Bookmarks transfer was inclomplete, so I am on IE right now because that is where I found this URL. ;) Any comments or suggestions? Please don't say Netscpe, as I tried it for two weeks and determined it was just another AOL plot to control the computer that I paid for.Maybe I just don't have enough "pioneer" in my blood...

You can change the skin of Mozilla as well as make a lot of settings in there that you like. Give it time, and you will surely be rewarded with software that's entirely customized for you only :)ThunderRiver
