Yep. Aryeh is right. The landscape of online communications is definitely evolving.

I was a Gnomie from way back. I was a participant and reader of Chris P.'s original Lockergnome site and his email newsletter. That was a long time ago... 2000-2001 or so.

I was never really active at the board but I did know of it and used it as a resource. Sorry to hear that it is going away. Does anyone know why the forum is closing?

Also that was very nice of Aryeh to mention our forum but then again, I would of been surprised if he didn't ;)

Me too. Great posting Aryeh. Thanks for mentioning Scot's Newsletter Forums as well as other good forums.

Sad day to lose another forum.

Truthfully, I'm surprised the lockergnome forum hung on as long as it did. zlim left the building/forum quite a few years ago and moved on to more active forums.

Chris Pirillo seemed to lose interest in his tech support kingdom and become much more interested in his Youtube Vlog world over the years, probably because it's where he makes his most income from Google.

Hello,

It was a business decision by Chris. But, yes, the forum wasn't generating anywhere near the traffic it did the first few years of operation.

Hello,

Strangely enough, the site is still up. I wouldn't suggest posting anything, though, if you are concerned about its permanence, though.
