If this is the site https://itch.io/

you need to correct the title because you are not showing itch, you are showing ich.

Someone showed me this site http://www.gametop.com/

for free downloadable, fully playable games. Some might have glitches. The best one I've downloaded is

http://www.gametop.c...rtlake-mansion/

I put my lack of attention to detail down to stress. I am worried about the lifespan of my new baby plants, the snails and slugs in Wales are pretty voracious.

Mortlake mansion looks neat. :breakfast:

There are a few snails and slugs, particularly slugs, around the U.S. these days. Uh... oops. That could be construed as a political comment. ;)

We have a groundhog. Apparently his meal of choice is purple petunias. I have a large patio pot and he chomped off the tops of all the purple petunias. (Last year he ate the sweet potato vines but they grew so much that I didn't notice). I had some pink and purple petunias left over from the plants I bought to put on the graves but I didn't want to put them in the pot for fear I'd just be feeding him. If he doesn't like the plants available perhaps he'll move to someone else's property.

The majority of my plants are in hanging baskets, which he can't reach. I'll have to remember to either not get a patio pot next spring or try for another mix of plants and hope he doesn't like what I've picked.

I just discovered it is lawful to kill a woodchuck in Pennsylvania. I thought it was unlawful.

We have a trap and my husband has a gun permit. hmmm.

Of course it is NOT legal to shoot a gun in the city so if we caught him, we'd have to take him for a ride to the county in the trap and shoot him outside city limits. I can't see us doing that.

We have a stake that make noise in the ground by the shed that is supposed to drive him off. We just bought 2 more to put by my patio pot.

Regardless of whether we destroy him, I won't be barbecuing him!

I had one trapped a couple of years ago by a "wildlife expert", who charged me a small fortune but did use a humane trap skillfully. I do hope he did actually release the groundhog. I'd have let it alone except that it was a juvenile starting a burrow right against the wall of my garage (attached to house), and I've read that they enlarge the burrows each year and can damage/undermine your foundation. My neighbor had a mature groundhog with a burrow under his shed and I'm pretty sure it was the source of my juvenile.

Yes, ours was under our shed. My husband put extra flagstones we have along 3 sides of the shed (it sits under our eaves so the 4th side it impossible to get to. We haven seen any dirt from burrowing this year so we suspect he might be on someone else's property and just roaming for his "buffet" lunch.

Umm... I'm only going to chime in on this VERY off-topic conversation about yard pests to say...

Please use non-lethal means if you can. All animals deserve to live. They have to eat. They may be pests to you, but for them it's just surviving and living.

That's all I want to say.

P.S. I may split off this conversation to its own thread. :)

Heck yes.

Mind you I was taught "if you kill it make sure you eat it" :Smiley-IPB-400: :breakfast:

That's the only reason I was willing to pay to have my groundhog removed. Hope I don't have to do it again--man who did it has now relocated to the next state and I don't know who else I would trust.

I wonder with some of these trappers and nuisance animal companies. Do they really relocate the animals? Or do they just take 'em out in the woods a few blocks away and kill them. :(

We'll never know for sure, I guess.
