Help with printer application and printer set up

Hello all,

 

I am having some issues with my printer, a Canon Image Class MF4412. I had never used this one before. Just found it unused lying around in one of the boxes. Anyway, I thought I would use it for a while to see if its working and it was. But for some reason, every time i switch on the printer I have to enter the date/time etc all over again. I am not sure why thats happening. Its rather annoying.

 

Also, the MF Toolbox App isnt working. It says supported scanner not installed. What does it mean? I had installed the drivers. Isn't it all?

 

Any pointers?

If you didn't do so I'd download and install the drivers for your OS from Canon instead of relying on Microsoft's (?) one size fits all approach.Never mind. I see you installed the drivers.
