There seems to be extraordinary growth reported for July to August, but it's from a reliable source. I thought I'd noticed a surge of new users at forums.debian.net but who knows?

StatCounter’s desktop OS report for February 2017 puts Chrome OS usage at 3.36% versus 1.47% for Linux.
