wttr --ing about the weather !

Was reading the thread concerning weather recently posted and could not get my head around the "F" temps as I think in "C". So I used "wttr" recently posted about here to see what you were all banging on about. Seems most of you are pretty cold.

So here is my weather in "C" and "F",

Now all I need is to be able to get wttr to do "C" and "mph" and the sun would shine for me.

Why not post your weather here with a picture of wttr or any other program you use ? It would be interesting to see what everyone uses to answer this most important daily question. (it is a life or death Q here in the UK)

I use this https://joshmadison....rt-for-windows/

I had the hardest time trying to figure out the weather while I lived in Australia when they gave the temps in what all the world (except sadly, the US) uses. I do use a formula (maths background) but you can't do it quickly to change from F° to C°.

Then someone simply said Temperate 20's, Torrid 30's and Fiery 40's. That gave me a quick indication if I should grab a jacket or ice water.

It is currently raining here and the temps are in the single digits C° but not freezing. We were supposed to have ice but didn't get it.

Everything is green - the snow has melted. I remember last winter, it was fairly nice until we got hammered with 22" (almost 56cm) of snow so I'm waiting until April when the danger of a blizzard has passed.

Ah, Liz, I really hate to remind you about the April blizzards we've occasionally had in our area. But you're right on the whole, by April we can relax until hurricane season starts!

It's been warm here 10 deg C . for the last week and lately no frost at night . Dry but good 8 octets of low cloud . Still light the fire, but it gets too warm at the desk .Insulation is too good .

Pretty strong winds been battering me all of yesterday and today an it looks like it will keep up for a while yet.

Mind you I guess that is better than the weather where I used to live.

We use Celsius here as well and it's good for Canadian weather at least. A symmetrical scale.

+30 Really warm

+20 Warm

+10 Getting warm

0 Freezing

-10 Getting cold

-20 Cold

-30 Really cold

The hottest I've been here is +35 and the coldest -35.

Not expecting warm weather for a few months, sadly.

They are serious eskimo temperatures. The UK would have ground to a halt if temps like that stayed around for more than a few days. :drooling:

Fairly strong winds and wet here for a while, it was the same last week apart from this weekend which was warmish with plenty of sunshine. The wind was so bad last week the satellite dish was shaking so much I could not watch telly. Luckily I have a five meter hdim cable so internet tv saved the day, Death in Paradise was worth the effort.

Hopefully winter is over for us:

They look like our summer temps

And that is why I am in the southern part of the US, I cannot stand cold weather. Anything below 70F and I am cold.

It's pretty springy here right now... 75F in the daytime, 60 or a little less overnight. It's nice, but it ain't wintertime no more ol' Punxsutawney Phil evidently isn't including Florida in his prediction this year. :(

Winter certainly isn't over in the northeast. We've got a forecast for accumulating snow, maybe over 6 inches, for Wednesday night into Thursday. :'(

I lived in PA for 3 years and it was rough on me....

Hope the tornadoes in LA missed you today. At least that's one thing we rarely see up here, although there was a small one that did some damage over a three-quarter-mile path in my town a couple of years ago.

Well I was at work at the time and they missed us there and nothing happened at home but in the East side, they got nailed. There were a couple of tornadoes in the area but where I was, everything was safe

Looks like yet another wet and windy week for me. At least the temperatures seem to be on the rise later in the week although in the house it is not cold but those winds knife through you when outside. Mr Spooks is bored with indoors and is becoming a tad fractious, pussies are worse than kids sometimes. :hmm:
