raymac46
A friend of mine has an Acer all in one that he upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Now the latest Windows 10 November upgrade won't install (we couldn't update the system reserved partition.) I think the problem is that Windows 7 machines have only a 100 MB reserved partition and Windows 8 and 10 have 350 MB. The solution (I think) is to use a partition manager and enlarge the system reserved partition. Great. Move a 930 GB partition to get an extra 250 MB. Anybody else seen this problem? raymac46
We fixed his problem by using Minitool 9 bootable Partition Wizard to expand the Reserved Partition from 100 MB to 1.5 GB. Considering we had 900 GB to play with it wasn't a big deal. Took about 5 minutes to move some files. Windows 10 booted normally and we were able to install the updates.
