Adobe Reader DC and Acrobat DC Critical Security Updates Released

Adobe has released security updates for Adobe Reader DC and Adobe Acrobat DC for Windows and Macintosh.

 

Release date: February 13, 2018

Vulnerability identifier: APSB8-02

Platform: Windows and Macintosh

 

Update or Complete Download

 

Update checks can be manually activated by choosing Help > Check for Updates. Reader DC was updated to 18.011.20036.and Acrobat DC to 18.011.20035.

Note: UNcheck any pre-checked additional options presented with the update. They are not part of the software update and are completely optional.

Gotta love those Adobe updates....almost as frequent as java updates. It makes you wonder if it is because they are so popular or because the code is so poorly written..... :whistling:

Another nice feature of Windows 10. With Microsoft Edge, there is no need for Adobe Reader DC or another 3rd party software. Just open PDFs with Edge. You can even copy text. Just select the text, right-click and click copy.
