Well, I'd have to ask why you really need this device working on Windows 2003 Server. Are you testing it as a server or as a desktop? If desktop, my advice would be to use a desktop operating system instead.--Danny Smurf

I am not using Win2K server edition, however, generally, if an OS doesn't do well with the out of the box drivers, I usually go to the manufacturer's website and download their newest drivers for the version of Windows I are working with at that time. That usually does the trick.I found this page for SoundBlaster Live! drivers/software for Win2K:http://www.americas.creative.com/support/f...&os=9&subcat=16If you can't go direct to that page, or if it is not the specific SoundBlaster Live! that you have, go to:Creative Labs Support main page and then you can go through their little Q&A to get to the right SoundBlaster Live! driver.

I doubt you'll find Creative Drivers will be available before April 24 if at all for Windows 2003 Server. Generally, most people don't put Sound Blaster Live! sound cards on a server! My suggestion would be to use the Windows XP drivers as they would be the closest match. But I don't know if we'll see drivers for a server OS from Creative Labs.

Well..so they say April 24th.... but please keep in mind that April 24th is the date where the product hits the retail store. For all the MSDN subscribers, and official beta testers, they already have theirs hands with the final code. As for hardware acceleration, make sure you download the latest driver. There is this hardware acceleartion tweak thing hidden in the "Sounds and Audio Devices" from Control Panel.Make sure you enable "Windows Audio" service and also install the latest version of DirectX 9.0I am running the final code of Windows 2003 Enterprise Server as of now, and if you have questions, feel free to PM me.
