milleron
My sound card is a CL Audigy. Knoppix 3.2 detects it as an "Audigy" during boot, but there is no sound in KDE. Pretty much everything else seems to work except for my DAT tape drive. If I'm not willing to get rid of the Audigy is there any chance of getting sound under Linux? GolfProRM
You might need to turn up the volume on both sound mixers... in the sounds section of the "start" menu... not in Linux so don't remember the exact names... someone else help me here? Bruno
Hi milleronI see that Ryan has already taken care of you question, but just wanted to post you this message to welcome you to the forum !Didn´t know Knoppix had the same problem with sound as Mandrake does, guess it is KDE related !
