amenditman Posted February 29, 2012 Share Posted February 29, 2012 I read a long, technical discussion about this case. It might have been on Groklaw. The reason given by the court for siding with the defendant was that the act of decrypting and turning over the data could implicate him in other crimes he was not under suspicion of commiting.
