How do I check what version I have in the drive now (I just bought it from Fry's in Burbank CA.2. labyrinth Posted April 19, 2003 Share Posted April 19, 2003 I wouldn't do any firmware upgrades until I knew that it had a problem. If its only input is firewire then that would be the way it takes an upgrade. I have the Sony DVD ( but not firewire) it works fine with XP.
