greets!

hoping my new signature logo is moderately pleasing to one and all!
it's 100% vector, so it's scaleable to huge without pixelation.
the calligraphy loosely means, warrior, fighter, soldier. --- or breaker of PCs. --- either way.
the red circle is, of course, the rising sun.
the text for, "temmu" is based on the manga steel font

anyway, there it is!
and here's a larger version that shows off a little more detail...

sorry, i'd missed the point... yeah, southpark, i've seen a couple of them... thought they were clever! :) but really not much time for tv, et al.

and thanks, glad you like it... figured i'd try something styled after manga, the japanese stories illustrated by hand.

that's the strange thing, no store in japan minds its patrons flocking to the magazine aisle and reading its contents.
i suppose it would be up to some to continue buying the series in order to make manga profitable, otherwise how would it be?

Saw a great Japanese movie last night... Akira Kurosawa's The Seven Samurai, which, oddly enough, is the movie on which the American western The Magnificent Seven was based.

I saw that back in the 70's when auntie beeb did a series of foriegn films on the new BBC2. Thought it was epic then and still do. Channel 4 or 5 just did a series of Kurosawa films 7 I think spread over several weeks. They were most enjoyable especialy,

https://en.wikipedia.../Yojimbo_(film)

Yojimbo is one of my favourites and many modern western films have been made using the theme which funnily enough used a western novel as its inspiration.

I'll have to check out Yojimbo when I get a chance.

I had seen The Seven Samurai two or three times before. I think the first time I saw it was back in my teen years. It's one of the few movies with captions where having to read the captions did NOT take anything away from the movie itself. Good stuff!
