Bruno was the guy who convinced me to try Mandriva when I wasn't all that happy about Ubuntu. I used it for years and then got away from it when the Mageia fork happened. Mageia's Gnome Shell edition had some display bugs that drove me nuts. Anyway gave it a spin tonight in VBox - Mageia 5 Gnome - and it is polished and just as nice as I remember it back in the Mandriva Gnome 2 days. I still love the Mandriva/Mageia Control Center which is one of the best GUI tools I have ever used. If you are an RPM package fan you can't go wrong. Even the Guest Additions just work.
