LLfan
Had a lot of fun last night with the book. Installed a few apps, got the music off my ipod onto itunes. Successfully got the battery down to reserve then fully charged it. What else, OH, installed the clear dock-fun fun fun! Only problem is I made a border to see what it was like then when I wanted to get rid of it no matter what I tried it stayed there. Tried setting to white, changing the opacity to 0, nothing worked. Will go home and play with it some more.Ooooh, and I found my Final Cut Express so am going to play with that tonight.
SonicDragon
When you have some free time to experiment with some more free software, you might want to have a look at Konfabulator. I've never had a chance to use it, but people seem to really like it and it seems like it was a lot of cool features.----Oh, and there are hundreds of widgets available for Konfabulator... so much that it's basically all you could ever need. Check out this website to download some.
Arena2045
About cleardock:If you do NOT want a background make it look like this:ImageIf you WANT a background, but no border make open the boarder color and make it 100% transparent.Glad you found your Final Cut Ex. Arena2045
Edit:There have been a lot of revisions to it since I tried it... and since I reformatted recently I'll give it another try to refresh my opinion on it.I take back all those nasty things I said about it. :lol:They have improved it a lot since I first tried it.Thanks for suggesting it Sonic. It never hurts to retry something once it's been updated and refined. Edited June 11, 2004 by Arena2045
LLfan
Like I said, I tried setting the opacity to 0 and it still shows.
Arena2045
Uncheck the box, then click apply. That will make the background totally transparent, and remove the border.
