BrianT1701 Posted June 2, 2004 Share Posted June 2, 2004 I just picked up a G3/450 with os9 and Panther installed....I am sure I will have some questions when it gets here...should ship tomorrow.But...I am very happy with this purchase and not to mention excited..as it was well within my price range. :thumbsup:This is my first "good" quality Mac...and my first time really using OSX. As you know via correspondence in AIM my software shipped but my CC denied apple for the iBook. The problem was that since I had been away for 3 days on vacation and spending an unusual amount they wanted to talk with me and verify purchases before. As I said though, that could be a blessing in disguise as I think I want to configure the iBook a little differently or maybe even splurge on the G5 (though don't tell the wife). Being my first time really using OSX and all. It is one of those Blue and White G3's. With the 450mhz processor and 384MB of Ram. It is working like a champ and I've already shut down my windows machine.I picked this one up on eBay for only 220 dollars.
