Thanks folks. The place needs some decorating and altering tlc and the garden needs a makeover. All which will have to wait until I get me dodgy arm back into full use.
Lucky for me I bought a Steam Controller last summer so I can usefully fill in time and do some physio on me wrists and fingers whilst exercising me grey cell, thank goodness for a well stocked Steam Library.

What a disappointment !!

I remembered that Tenby had a great fish and chip shop from when I was house hunting. As the sun was shining yesterday with a clear sky I thought, why not pop over to Tenby, only 6 miles away, get some super fish and chips and take some pics of the sunset over the ocean.

Well the chip shop was shut till February. I stood on the cliff top looking left and no sunset,

So that's what, like $117,000? Yikes, you couldn't get much in the US at that price. Looks good! And, of course, fitting the cat flap takes priority (no snark intended).

Very nice.
I see there is a stair lift which is nice for older folks with a 2 story dwelling. My husband and I are fortunate to live in a one story "ranch" type home. I could host all the holidays and not have to worry about our aging parents getting into and moving around our home.

You do not get much around here either or in any of the nicer and handy sort of places. I could have bought nearly the same further inland into the valleys or up the coast for almost half the price but they did not have the views or the nearness of services. I am pretty lucky and am thankful to me mum and dad, shame they can not be here.

Fitting two more interior cat flaps so his highness can wander at will.

I did try for some one storey dwellings, we call them bungalows. But most were out of my price range and the three derelicts I bid on went for silly money, mind you they had drop dead gorgeous settings and views.

The stair lift, hmmmmmmmmm. Took me a while to figure out how to move it. Made a test run all the way up and down the stairs with an empty chair. Then I took a ride which was very strange due to the corners, most unusual. Tried to move it the next day and it moved nine inches and stopped. I will make time to sort it out someday as it will probably be very useful in the future.

Saw the specialist consultant at long last last week. X-rays taken and viewed and it looks like my break has healed up nicely. Whooopeee no more worries about another operation etc etc.
Now all I have to do is get all the locked up muscles working again and toned up.

Looks like it will be a decent year no matter what the weather is doing. :breakfast:

Well me collar bone has healedup, I have 99% movement but need some work to build up strength all round. I still have some pretty awful bouts of pain if I overdo stuff. No matter I think all will be well in time and I am being quite dedicated with the exercises etc.
That said I can ride me luverly battered girl again.

Entrance to the show ground above.

Rode out to the Llandovery Motorcycle weekend show on Sunday which is around a 130 mile trip. Started of in the damp as it rained but stopped before we left. Luckily the rain stayed away and the sun came out so the roads were dry in no time.
Good day out but me right arm was darn tired by the end of the day. The old girl is easing up engin wise and much nicer to ride, not so grabby and power is much smoother and responsive. Well if you can describe an old girl as having power. Me neighbour who rode out with me was on a 500 Suzuki and disappeared in the blink of an eye when he opened her up on the few straight stretches. He did wait for me to catch up which was nice of him.

Can you spot the Royal in the poster ? no not the bike the real Royal. :w00t:

Last time I had my fat arse on a motorcycle was Christmas of '10. A friend loaned me his spare so we could all ride together to the club Christmas dinner. I'm am sooooo jonesin' for a bike. This has been the longest stretch in 40 years for me to not be riding.

If I ever hit that lottery, I'll be coming for a visit. I'll rent a Harley to ride with you, but it'll be weird riding on the wrong... er, I mean left side of the road. ;)

I know what you mean. I had to think hard when I visited the states. Mind you you have bigger wider roads over there so more room to recover from errors.
I'd love to see your reaction to some of our fine "C" class roads out in the boonies.
